January Transfer Odds - 22/01/20

Latest News

There isn’t too much longer left of the January transfer window for managers to bring in reinforcements. Naturally, the closer we get to the end of the transfer window, the more rumours start to circulate and we’ve had a look at some of the latest rumours and their odds should you wish to back any of the transfers. Please note the odds are correct as of 22/01/20.

Wilfried Zaha to Tottenham - 10/1

A couple of weeks ago, we talked about Wilfied Zaha’s rumoured transfer to Chelsea from Crystal Palace. Since then, Tottenham face an injury crisis, as Harry Kane looks to be out until April with a hamstring injury. Jose Mourinho stated that Tottenham are “doing everything they can” to sign a striker this month and Zaha is one of the names linked with a move to Tottenham to give Tottenham attacking reinforcements for the remainder of the season. If you think Zaha could be on his way to Tottenham, you can back it by clicking on the link below.

John Stones to Arsenal - 10/1

We’re staying in North London for our next transfer window, as Sky Bet are offering a 10/1 price of John Stones joining Arsenal from Manchester City. Around the 13th of January, reports started to circulate that Mikel Arteta will make a move for Stones in an attempt to improve the Arsenal defense, with Stones being keen to discuss a move. Considering that Stones and Arteta are represented by the same agency, it’s not out of the question that the move couldn’t happen.

Jude Bellingham to Manchester United - 5/4

Another team who is struggling with injuries is Manchester United, as Marcus Rashford looks to be out of action for a couple of months with a back injury. It was clear that United needed attacking and creative reinforcements before Rashford suffered the injury after failing to replace Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez and Ander Herrera. It’s obvious that United’s squad is dangerously stretched and in need of a few more players and one of the players linked with a move to Old Trafford is Birmingham’s 16-year-old midfielder Jude Bellingham. Bellingham is showing a lot of promise, scoring 4 goals in 25 Championship games for Birmingham this season and is definitely a player for the future, but is it a good idea for United to bring him in for £30 million instead of going for a proven midfielder? If you think so, you can back it at 5/4.

Krzysztof Piatek to Tottenham - 5/6

We return to Tottenham for our next rumour and once again it is a striker linked with the North London club. After also being linked with the likes of Manchester United and Aston Villa, AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek is also being mentioned with a move to Tottenham. With the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Piatek looks to be out of favour at the San Siro, having only started 2 of AC Milan’s last 5 games. As previously mentioned, Jose Mourinho stated that Tottenham are “doing everything they can” to sign a striker this month, and according to Sky Bet, Piatek is likely to be that striker.
