With 16 in 25 games this season for Carlisle in League Two, Kristian Dennis has been a breakout player this season at 32 years old, nearly matching his goal tally for the past three seasons combined. The ex-Notts County man’s form has been outstanding, scoring five goals in his last four games. On top of this, Dennis has already netted against Rochdale this season.

Dennis’s goals have really improved Carlisle this season, as they currently sit 4th in the league after finishing 20th last season and they will be very confident going to bottom of the league Rochdale, who have lost nine of their last 14 games and haven’t won at home since the beginning of November.

Gillingham have spent most of this season rooted to the bottom of the table, but they found some form in their last two games, beating Hartlepool and Colchester, which ended a run of 12 games without a win in League Two, not scoring in eight of those games, which could make them confident facing a Swindon Town team that has blown hot and cold this season.

Swindon have had some patchy form this season, with high points of eight wins in 13 games, but right now they are currently in the midst of an inconsistent run of three wins in their last ten, failing to score in five games, but have also kept three clean sheets in this run of games, which should keep out a Gillingham side that have only scored 11 goals in 25 League Two games.

Salford under Neil Wood have been a strange outfit in League Two this season, with their away form being better than their home form, picking up 23 points in 13 away games this season, the second most in the league.

The Ammies will be even more confident in this game because of the sudden electrifying form of Conor McAleny, who has scored six goals in his last four games after just one goal in his past nine and facing a Crawley side with just four clean sheets all season and one win in seven games, his form has a great chance to continue.

After being one of the best players in League Two last season, scoring 13 goals, Hoskins has improved to be arguably the best player in the league this season, already scoring 16 goals this season in 21 games, making him joint top-scorer in the league despite not being a striker.

Hoskins is in good form coming into this game scoring four in his last eight games, and facing a Barrow side who has two clean sheets in 11 games, he will be confident of netting, and maybe even netting multiple times for the fourth time this season.

After a run of one win in ten games, Sutton have picked up some great form as of late, winning five of their last nine games, only losing twice, making them one of the in-form teams in the league and are facing one of the teams who are looking for form, with Harrogate failing to win in their last four games.

Both sides have been involved in some high-scoring games recently, especially Harrogate, with nine of their last 13 games seeing over 3.5 goals, whilst Sutton have had games with over 2.5 goals in four of their last five games, which could make this a high-scoring affair.
