Over the festive period, lifelong Norwich City fan Barrie Greaves passed away at the age of 83. Within his Will, Barrie left his beloved Norwich £100, with Barrie asking the players to buy themselves a drink as a way of saying thank you for all of the memories he enjoyed through his many years of supporting the club.
Ahead of their trip to face Manchester United, Norwich acknowledged the wish of Barrie and paid tribute to him by posting a picture which you can find below of the players raising a glass to Barrie, with the caption, “Cheers Barrie! 💛".
In a period where the gap between supporters and clubs is as big as it’s ever been, it's lovely to see clubs and players pay tribute and show respect to the fans that dedicate their life and loyalty to the club.
RIP Barrie 💚💛
