Fulham vs Queens Park Rangers: Both teams to score

A top-of-the-table London derby to get Saturday going after the international break? Sounds like the perfect tonic after a week of no second-tier action and Queens Park Rangers’ trip to Fulham is shaping up to be a classic.

The pair are separated by two points in fifth and sixth, with both boasting in-form strikers that promise to provide goals all afternoon - Aleksandar Mitrović leads the way as the division’s top scorer, whilst Lyndon Dykes has enjoyed a stellar international break with World Cup-chasing Scotland.

A result is probably too close to call in this one, so that’s why we’re going for both teams to score at and Mitrovic to get another goal.

Blackburn vs Coventry: Blackburn to win

Coventry City have been the surprise package in the Championship this season, with the Sky Blues’ comfortable in third with 22 points after 11 games so far.

However, much of their good form this campaign can be attributed to their strong performances back at the Coventry Building Society Arena, where Mark Robins’ side have won all six of their home games.

Away from the West Midlands hasn’t brought the best results for Coventry, who could once again be in for another difficult road trip when they travel to Blackburn Rovers this weekend, making the Lancashire club to score 2+ goals at 6/4 a sensible bet.

Preston North End vs Derby: PNE to win and over 2.5 goals

After a stumbling start to the campaign that saw Preston North End lose their opening three matches, Frankie McAvoy’s side have since bounced back, losing only one of their next eight – a 3-2 defeat to high-flyers QPR in the last game before the international break.

Looking to return to winning ways this weekend, they could not have asked for a better first game back, with bottom-placed Derby County the visitors to Deepdale.

Expected to further pile the pressure on Wayne Rooney’s men, we’re backing Preston to win the match and over 2.5 goals at 11/4.

Bristol City vs Bournemouth: Solanke to score anytime

Bournemouth are flying this season and their position at the top of the Championship table is in no small part down to the form of Dominic Solanke, with the 24-year-old having scored seven goals in his first 11 games of the campaign.

The league leaders travel to Bristol City this weekend, who have kept only one clean sheet this season, providing Solanke with the perfect chance to add to his already impressive attacking returns.

Fancy Solanke to net against a leaky Robins’ defence? If so, the former England youth international is priced at 13/10 to net anytime.

Huddersfield vs Hull: Huddersfield to win 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2

It had looked at one point like Huddersfield Town may have challenged for the Championship title and whilst there is still time for the Terriers, a playoff spot looks like the realistic target for Carlos Corberán’s side.

By contrast, Hull City are operating at the opposite end of the table and the Tigers will be thankful if they are in the division next season, given the state of their current battle against relegation.

A chance for Huddersfield to reignite their campaign after a spluttering pre-international break period, we’re backing the Town to go to town against a savaged Tigers backline. Huddersfield to win 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2 at 13/2? Go on then.
