The Championship league leaders are back in action on Saturday, as Fulham make the trip to the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium to face QPR.

The hosts had hopes of pushing for one of the automatic promotion places, but have fallen off in recent weeks, with four defeats in their last five games. Mark Warburton’s side are in eighth place, two points off the play-off places.

Fulham sit top of the Championship table; eight points clear of Bournemouth following three wins on the bounce. Aleksandar Mitrovic already broke the record for most Championship goals in a season and can continue his astonishing season by grabbing his 36th goal in as many league games.

Sunderland will be hopeful that they end the weekend in a play-off spot when they face Gillingham at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

The Black Cats are unbeaten in their last six games, winning three of their last five. It leaves them in seventh place, two points off the play-offs. They’ll fancy their chances of picking up another win against a Gillingham side that are four points above the relegation zone.

Ross Stewart tops the goalscoring charts in the third tier. The Scottish striker has 22 goals in his 39 games so far and will be looking to add to that tally this weekend.

There’s a big derby clash in League One this weekend, with Wigan and Bolton going head-to-head at the DW Stadium on Saturday.

Wigan are chasing the league title and could go top with a win, with Rotherham not in league action this weekend. The Latics will be full of confidence of getting a result and will be eager to go six games unbeaten in the league when they face their local rivals. Will Keane got the third goal in the 4-1 win against Morecambe last time out, taking his tally to 19 goals.

Bolton got back to winning ways last time out against struggling Crewe, leaving Ian Evatt’s men 11th and 11 points off the play-offs.

Port Vale will want to carry on their good form and push on in the race for promotion in League Two, when they travel to Holker Street to face a struggling Barrow.

The Valiants have jumped up to fourth place after four wins in their last five, including the win last time out against another promotion hopeful, Sutton.

Jamie Proctor got the second in that 2-0 with a magnificent bicycle kick that Paulo Di Canio would be proud of. He can add to his eight league goals so far this season with another against a Barrow side that have won just once in their last ten games.

League Two table-toppers Forest Green could extend their advantage at the top with a win against a rock-bottom Scunthorpe who are running out of hope.

Matt Stevens got the winner for Forest Green against Colchester last Monday, keeping Rovers top with a four-point cushion above Exeter. Only Newport’s Dominic Telford has more goals than the 23 that the 24-year-old has notched up this season, with three goals coming in his last five games. He can add to that tally and even rise to the top of the goalscoring charts with more when FGR go up against the Iron – who have lost four games on the bounce.
