This Saturday Cheltenham Town welcomes Bolton Wanderers to Whaddon Road, and we are expecting an exciting game, full of goals, between two sides that have very little to play for.
Bolton currently resides in 10th Place, and faces a Cheltenham side in 14th, as neither side has any relegation threat nor can they catch the promotion hopefuls we’re hoping that this game is a rollercoaster of attacking football as the result has little bearing.
Nine of Cheltenham's last 12 games have produced over 2.5 goals, with prolific forward Alfie May already banging in 24 goals this season. During those nine games, both teams got on the score sheet in seven of those, a statistic that won't please The Robins manager, Michael Duff, but certainly pleases anyone wanting to bet on a few goals this weekend. In addition to Cheltenham’s goal-high games, both teams have also scored in six of Bolton’s past eight games.
