Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to get their bid for European football back on track when they face fellow Londoners West Ham United on Sunday afternoon.

Jose Mourinho’s side have slipped down to ninth in the current standings having lost four out of their last five fixtures. Whisperings of a potential title challenge seemed to be a distant memory as Ilkay Gundogan fired league leaders Manchester City to a comfortable victory last time out.

Meanwhile, David Moyes and West Ham have enjoyed one of their more fruitful spells in the Premier League in recent memory, and now sit two points ahead of Liverpool in fifth place. After a frustrating draw with Fulham and a narrow cup defeat away at Manchester United, they returned to winning ways on Monday night after a dominant display against Sheffield United.

They are a side brimming with confidence and they now possess a potent attacking threat, so we have tipped the Hammers to inflict further damage to Tottenham’s season by getting the win here and both teams to score at 4/1.

Liverpool and Everton go head to head in this season’s second Merseyside derby, with both teams looking to make amends after slipping out of the top five.

Jurgen Klopp’s side claimed a commanding 2-0 victory in their first leg tie with RB Leipzig in midweek, which will certainly lift the spirits around Anfield. Prior to that, three consecutive defeats in the league has seen the Reds slip down to sixth place, with Leicester the most recent side to capitalise on their poor run of form.

These two sides played out a memorable 2-2 draw back in October in the reverse fixture, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin netting a late equaliser; the England forward is 5/1 to score first this weekend. However, we’ve tipped in-form Mohamed Salah to score for the fourth game in a row by getting a goal here, but the match to end in a draw at 9/1.

Leicester City make the short trip across the Midlands to face Aston Villa on Sunday afternoon, and anything but a win for Brendan Rodgers’ side will likely see them lose pace with the frontrunners.

The Foxes have been one of the most consistent sides in the division this season, and after a disappointing stalemate at Molineux, they returned to winning ways in emphatic fashion after sweeping aside champions Liverpool by three goals to one last time out.

The hosts have the opportunity to move as high as fifth should they win their next two fixtures, but disappointing results in a defeat to West Ham and a goalless draw with Brighton & Hove Albion in recent weeks has somewhat taken the sting out of their European hopes. Despite this, Villa can certainly cause problems for Leicester this weekend, and it may be worth looking at the boosted bet of Ollie Watkins to score and his side to win 2-1 at 80/1.

However, we’ve tipped the man of the moment James Maddison to score from outside the area at a boosted price of 15/2. The 24-year-old has been nothing short of a revelation this season for Leicester, and has already bagged two long-range efforts this campaign.

Manchester City will be looking to extend their dominant lead at the top of the Premier League when travel south to face Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

Mikel Arteta’s side suffered disheartening defeats against Wolves and Aston Villa in which the Gunners may have felt hard done by in regards to several of the decisions made. However, they quickly made amends in their most recent fixture after putting four goals past Leeds, including a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang hat-trick; the Arsenal captain is 6/1 to score first.

Despite this, it could be a difficult and tiresome afternoon if Manchester City continue their rampant winning form this weekend. The Cityzens could make it 18 victories in a row should they find a way past Arsenal, and we expect them to simply have too much quality going forward for the home side to handle. City have conceded just three goals in their last six matches, with Ruben Dias and John Stones forming a formidable centre-back partnership. With this in mind, we have tipped them to win to nil on Sunday at 6/4.
