Fulham v Wolves: Fulham to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1

Friday night sees Fulham host Wolves at Craven Cottage, with the home side desperate for three points as they attempt to move out of the relegation zone. After a decent run of form in February, the Cottagers have now lost three games on the bounce and may feel like this is a good opportunity to get back on track. All of Fulham’s five wins this season have come by a scoreline of 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1.

Wolves are also a side that are out-of-form, having not won in their last five games and have had a relatively difficult season due to the injury to star striker Raul Jimenez. This has had a clear impact on their goalscoring form, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side scoring just 13 goals in 15 games away from home.

We are predicting a Fulham win with a score of either 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1, which is priced at 9/4 with Sky Bet.

Manchester City vs Leeds United – City Win and Over 3.5 Goals

This season, Manchester City have shown unprecedented form and have won 27 of their last 28 games in all competitions. Coming off the back of an important 2-1 win against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, there could potentially be some tired legs, but we think that they will still have enough in the tank to overcome Leeds United. There have been over 3.5 goals in City’s last two home games in the Premier League.

Leeds United have played away from home to five of the ‘Big Six’ and have conceded at least three goals in every single one of these games. Bielsa’s side have also scored in four of these games and with Man City conceding in four consecutive home games in the league, we think they could score against one of the top sides once again.

Our tip is a Manchester City win with over 3.5 goals in the game, which is priced at 13/8.

Liverpool vs Aston Villa – Villa Double Chance

After disappointment in the Champions League during midweek, Liverpool are looking to ensure they are in European competition next season, but their form at Anfield may well stop them from being able to do so. The Reds have lost their last six home games in the league and are winless in eight, scoring just twice in this period. They will take confidence in the fact that they won their most recent game at home, where they beat RB Leipzig 2-0 in the Champions League, but they will need to pick up points in the league if they are to have any chance of competing for a place in the top four.

Aston Villa have a good record away from home and have the second-best defence on the road, behind league leaders Manchester City. Dean Smith’s side have conceded just 12 goals in 15 games away from home this season and with Liverpool’s woes in front of goal at home in 2021, Villa will feel that they are more than capable of achieving their ninth clean sheet away from home this season.

Unfortunately for the hosts, we see Liverpool’s poor home record continuing largely due to the defensive solidarity of Aston Villa. We are opting for an Aston Villa double chance (win or draw) at 6/4 but we could also see the visitors winning the game to nil, which is 10/1.

Crystal Palace vs Chelsea – Chelsea Win to Nil

Despite below-par performances over the last few weeks, Crystal Palace have shown their ability to grind out results and have lost just one of their last six games. This run of form has pulled them clear of the relegation battle and Palace fans will feel safe heading into their very difficult run-in at the end of this season.

In contrast, Chelsea have it all to play for and will be looking to bounce back from a shock 5-2 loss to struggling West Bromwich Albion, a result which cost them their place in the top four. This was Thomas Tuchel’s first loss since taking charge of Chelsea in December and he will be keen to get back to winning ways this weekend and sure up the uncharacteristically weak defence we witnessed last weekend.

We are going for a Chelsea win to nil, which has occurred in six of Chelsea’s seven league wins under Tuchel. This is priced at 11/8, whilst a 2-0 win for the visitors is 11/2.

Burnley vs Newcastle United – Draw

Burnley fans will know that they aren’t completely safe from relegation just yet and a loss here could put them in danger of losing their place in the top flight. Famously hard to beat at home, Burnley are unbeaten at Turf Moor since September against teams who aren’t in the ‘Big Six’ and have drawn their last five games at home.

Steve Bruce’s side picked up an impressive point against Tottenham Hotspur last time out and it’s hard to tell whether or not they would be happy with a point again here. Newcastle will once again be without main man Callum Wilson as well as Allan Saint-Maximin who has been added to the injury list, which makes the game even harder for the Magpies.

Considering their poor away form, with one win since November, we believe Newcastle will be happy with a point and that they will get it. A draw is 21/10 with Sky Bet.
