Frankfurt v Stuttgart: Andre Silva to score

Eintracht Frankfurt will be hoping to get all three points when they take on 10th placed Stuttgart on Saturday, as they look to keep battling away in the race for European places. The Eagles are currently fourth in Germany’s top tier and could go six points clear of fifth-placed Borussia Dortmund who contest a Der Klassiker later in the day.

Third-placed Wolfsburg are also in action on Saturday, with both third and fourth playing at the same time amd Frankfurt can go level on points with them if they pick up the win and Wolfsburg lose away to Hoffenheim. Adi Hutter’s side have plenty of attacking talent that can help get a result, such as Filip Kostic and Luka Jovic, however, the man that continues to lead the line and fire in the goals for Frankfurt though is Andre Silva.

The Portuguese striker has a remarkable 19 goals in 21 appearances so far in the Bundesliga this season – with only Bayern Munich goal-machine Robert Lewandowski scoring more than the former AC Milan hitman. Silva opened the scoring in the last game against Werder Bremen after nine minutes, but his team failed to hold onto their lead.

Odds are 17/10 with Skybet for Silva to score and Frankfurt to win vs Stuttgart.

Juventus v Lazio: Juventus to win and BTTS

Juventus have had a poor season so far but will look to close the gap on the top two when they host Lazio in Turin on Saturday night. Andrea Pirlo’s side go into the game needing the points – four behind second-placed AC Milan and even more behind Inter Milan at the top.

They come up Simone Inzaghi’s seventh-placed Lazio side who themselves are in need of points, a point behind Napoli, four behind fifth-placed Roma and six behind fourth-placed Atalanta. Lazio have players that can hurt the Old Lady and get on the scoresheet, such as Ciro Immobile and Luis Alberto, but they have lost two of their last three in the league including an away loss to Bologna last time out.

Juve, on the other hand, have won two of their last three in the league and odds are 11/4 with Skybet for Juventus to beat Lazio on Saturday night with both teams scoring.

Barcelona v Osasuna: Barca to win to nil

Barcelona’s downfall this season had surprised many across the footballing world as they allowed Atletico Madrid to storm ahead in the La Liga title race. Since the turn of the year though, Barca have started to turn things around – in the league at least – going 10 La Liga games unbeaten since the start of 2021, in which they’ve won nine. On Saturday night, Ronald Koeman’s men travel to the El Sadar Stadium to face a mid-table Osasuna side that are six points above the relegation zone.

The Catalan giants are looking to make it four wins in a row in all competitions, four games in which they’ve kept a clean sheet as well. Last Wednesday they beat Elche 3-0 before picking up a big 2-0 victory away to Sevilla. Lionel Messi and co will be raring to go after beating Sevilla again on Wednesday night, dramatically winning their Copa del Rey semi-final home tie 3-0 against the Rojiblancos which overturned a 2-0 deficit from the away leg.

We’ve gone with Barca to win again on Saturday with another clean sheet, odds are 15/8.

Der Klassiker: Bayern to win and BTTS

There’s a huge tie in Germany on Saturday evening, when Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund lock horns in another instalment of Der Klassiker. Bayern need to win to keep their lead at the top of the table, with RB Leipzig just two points off going into Gameweek 24.

Elsewhere, Dortmund are desperate for a win that could put them into the top four on goal difference depending on what happens in Frankfurt’s match. With two immensely talented sides going at, goals are likely to be on the cards. The league leaders have scored a whopping 67 league goals so far, that’s 19 more than the next best side, Dortmund.

The Bavarians have conceded plenty, though, more than any other team in the top five, including seven in their last four games in all competitions. Therefore, you can definitely see the likes of Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland getting on the scoresheet in Munich on Saturday, but it probably won’t be enough to stop Bayern from winning the tie and keeping their head in front of Leipzig.

Bayern to win and both teams to score is a price of 11/8.

Manchester Derby: City to win and under 2.5

There’s another giant derby taking place over the weekend, as City host United in a huge Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday. Both teams have their own reasons for wanting a big win in this one, as well as the bragging rights that come with a derby game. City will want to get a win that will carry on their incredible 21-game winning streak, which is currently just three away from the European record set by Bayern Munich last season.

A win for Pep Guardiola’s side would also give them a mammoth 17-point lead ahead of United, as the title race looks almost certainly over now. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have had a poor run recently, winning just three games in their last ten in the league that’s seen them fall further behind their noisy neighbours. With their title chances deteriorating by the week, a win would go a long way to solidifying a top four spot, a race which they’ve seen themselves slip into after such a bad run.

With United’s woeful record against the so-called ‘Big Six’ this season seeing them score just once in seven games – five of which were 0-0 stalemates, combined with City’s dazzling performances as of late, it’s no surprise for Guardiola’s side to be favourites for the tie. We can see United defending with their backs to the wall for most of this game, with City’s quality getting the better by the odd goal or two.

Odds are 3/1 for them to win under 2.5 goals in the game.
