Roma arguably have a more talented squad than Sassuolo, and with Mourinho looking to add more signings before the new season, Berardi might be open to a move to the capital, according to reports. Roma’s ageing frontline still managed to contribute to their 68 league goals last season, however, the likes of Edin Dzeko and Pedro have struggled to replicate their form from previous seasons which made them household names across Europe. Berardi’s pace and creativity will add another dimension to the Roma attack, where he will be supplied by Lorenzo Pellegrini and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
