Sami Khedira's five-year stay at Juventus is coming to an end with the German yet to make an appearance for the Italian giants this season and he seemingly already has one foot out the door in Turin, despite his contract expiring in July.
Speaking to The Athletic recently, the 33-year-old stated his desire and intentions to move to the Premier League, having won the Bundesliga, La Liga and Serie A and now wanting to complete his 'collection' of winning medals.
“The Premier League is still missing in my collection, to play there would be the icing on the cake,” Khedira said.
"There are fewer breaks in the game and many counter-attacks, but this is what I like.
"I’ve done a lot of extra sessions with fitness coaches to get myself ready for a higher pace and intensity in the Premier League.”
Now in January, and with a few months left on his deal at Juventus, we take a look at where next for Khedira and the latest Khedira transfer news, as it looks all but certain the experienced midfielder is set to touch down in England.
