It's perhaps surprising to see Manchester City as the favourites for next season’s Premier League title given how dominant Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool were in 2019/20, but it isn’t completely outlandish when you look at what's happened early doors.
In true champion style, City have wasted no time recruiting players, adding Ferran Torres and Nathan Ake within just two weeks of the league concluding, and knowing the Manchester club, more will surely come.
Now, Manchester City odds to win the Premier League is priced at 10/11. It is also foolish to bet against Pep Guardiola when it comes to winning the league as the famous manager has only ever failed to win the league title four of his 12 seasons a senior coach. Plus, with the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling, Phil Foden, Ake, Aymeric Laporte to name a few, all still under 30, the best of this team could still be yet to come.
Guardiola will have to worries about filling the gargantuan hole left by David Silva when he departs after the Champions Legaue, whilst Sergio Aguero's injury concerns continue to mount. However, with Foden coming through, Jesus still racking up the goals, there is little doubt that this City side are just one or two players away from regaining the throne.
City odds to win the Premier League are priced at 10/11, but this could shorten, depending on transfer activity.
