Fernandes’ record since joining the Red Devils is also very impressive, having contributed to 34 goals in his 35 games since joining the club from Sporting Lisbon last January.

Fernandes is priced at 4/1 to be the first goalscorer of the game like he has been in his last two matches against Istanbul Basaksehir and West Brom, and he is also at the same price to be the last goalscorer.

Sunday sees Jose Mourinho make another return to his old stomping ground Stamford Bridge to face Frank Lampard’s Chelsea in what will be a hard-fought game for both sides. This fixture witnesses top of the table Spurs looking to extend their advantage against third-placed Chelsea to five points, with the two no doubt involved in this unpredictable title race now.

Kevin De Bruyne comes into Saturday’s 3pm kick off fresh against Burnley, following Pep Guardiola confirming that the Belgian was rested against Olympiakos after City’s 1-0 win in Greece. City have uncharacteristically struggled to score goals at times this season, having scored 10 goals in eight league games this season, whereas last season, they had scored 27 at this stage.

De Bruyne is instrumental to everything that City do through midfield, as shown last season when he got 39 goal contributions in 48 matches. The last goal De Bruyne scored against Burnley was in January 2019 in a 5-0 FA Cup win, Burnley have a wretched record against City since their last promotion to the top flight in 2016, with City leading the aggregate scoring against them 35-5 in 11 matches.

De Bruyne to score from outside the area is priced 5/1, whilst him to get a goal and assist is at 11/4, which you wouldn’t be surprised to see happen if the Clarets continue their poor run of form against City.
