However, this may make him more likely to find the back of the net against Bournemouth, in order to prove his snub the wrong decision. This Sunday brings another derby in the Premier League, with Manchester City welcoming Manchester United to the Etihad for the first Manchester Derby of the season. After a short stint out of the squad due to a dislocated shoulder he picked up in the clash against Everton back in August, Rodrigo is back in contention to start for Leeds, when they welcome a struggling Aston Villa to Elland Road.

Rodrigo is currently the fifth in the Premier League top scorer list, with four goals in only five appearances. Along with this, the Spaniard has also registered an assist in that time. The forward’s form before his injury saw him score a goal on average every 90 minutes, with a 31% goal conversion rate.

Aston Villa have had a mixed start to the season, with their only two wins in the Premier League coming against a faltering Everton side and 14th place Southampton. In addition, if there are any frailties in the Villa backline, Rodrigo is one of the most likely candidates to capitalise on it, the most recent example of this being his goal against Chelsea in August.

The early kick-off this weekend is a blockbuster North London Derby at the Emirates Stadium. The clash sees first place Arsenal and third place Tottenham attempt to end each other's good run of form from before the international break.

Harry Kane has scored the second highest number of goals so far this season, with six goals in seven games. Along with this, in the most recent international break, Kane also found the back of the net for England, scoring a penalty in the 3 - 3 draw with Germany.

Kane is highly likely to find himself on the scoresheet this weekend, no matter how well Arsenal are going in the Premier League so far this season. The England Captain has scored 13 goals in 15 Premier League appearances against Arsenal, the most any player has scored against Arsenal in Premier League history.
