Heung-Min Son has a great recent record against Southampton, scoring in each of his past four appearances against the Saints, scoring seven goals, including four goals in one match in the 19/20 season.

Both Southampton and Spurs ended last season in opposite forms, with Tottenham winning eight of their last eleven games, whilst Southampton lost ten of their last thirteen games.

The forward line of Tottenham will cause Southampton a lot of problems, and with the flair of the likes of Dejan Kulusevksi, Harry Kane and Heung-min Son, Mohammed Salisu has a good chance of being booked with the talent he is up against.

The last time we saw Jesse Lingard in a team that was built to his strengths, he was one of the best players in the league, scoring nine goals and providing five assists in 16 appearances for West Ham, and now he is joining a counter-attacking team in Nottingham Forest, it could see him regain form, and as he did for West Ham, score on his debut.

After a disappointing first season for Sancho after his high-profile move back to England, if his and Manchester United's pre-season form is anything to go by, this season could look a lot more positive for both the player and club.

Sancho was United's brightest player on their pre-season tour in Thailand and Australia, scoring three goals in four games, with his absence clearly missed in games against Atletico Madrid and Rayo Vallecano, and with Brighton losing their starting left back in Marc Cucurella to Chelsea, he could have a field day against Brighton’s backup options.
