Haaland managed four Premier League hat-tricks during the 2022/23 season, doing so against the likes of Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

As mentioned above, Haaland bagged four Premier League hat-tricks in what was his debut campaign for City, however, he did score five braces - meaning that in theory, he was just four goals away from hitting eight hat-tricks.

Haaland and Harry Kane were the front-runners in last season’s Premier League goalscoring charts, with the latter finishing six goals shy of Haaland’s stunning 36-goal tally.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah has scored more than 25 Premier League goals once during his career, managing 32 in his first season at Liverpool in 2017/18. Since then, the Egyptian forward has bagged 22 or more three times.

During his debut campaign for Pep Guardiola’s side, Haaland managed to score in 23 of his 38 Premier League matches, finding the back of the net against 16 different clubs.
