Our 5 Picks for Fantasy Five Ahead of Gameweek 6 of the PL Season

Fantasy 5 Game Week 6

Brentford vs Leeds: Luis Sinisterra - 6.5 Points

On Saturday, Brentford and Leeds United go head to head in a battle of 10th against sixth in the Premier League.

The player which we have chosen for this match is Luis Sinisterra. Leeds drew 1-1 with Everton in midweek, thanks to a goal by the Colombian in what was his first Premier League start since joining from Feyenoord.

Last season, the 23-year-old impressed for the Dutch Eredivisie outfit, scoring 23 and creating 14 assists in 49 matches.

He would likely need to score here to beat his points target, as a goal counts as five points for a midfielder.

Chelsea vs West Ham: Raheem Sterling - 8.5 Points

Raheem Sterling will be hoping to add to his impressive form when Chelsea hosts West Ham at Stamford Bridge on the weekend.

The 27-year-old England international scored the opening goal of the game in the Blues' 2-1 loss to Southampton on Tuesday night, taking his goal tally to three for the season, whilst also creating one assist.

In 16 appearances against West Ham, Sterling has scored eight times and created seven assists. He will need two goal contributions to beat 8.5 points, despite a goal counting for five points (as he is a midfielder). Assists count as three points for any player on the pitch.

Tottenham vs Fulham: Aleksandar Mitrovic - 6.5 Points

Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham face off in a London derby this weekend, of which Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic will be relishing the opportunity to maintain his excellent goalscoring form.

The former Newcastle United man has scored five goals in five matches, building off his superb 2021/22 campaign where he fired in 43 goals and created seven assists in 44 Championship outings.

Aston Villa vs Manchester City: Julian Alvarez - 6.5 Points

Premier League champions Manchester City travels to Villa Park where they’ll face Aston Villa, with pressure mounting on Steven Gerrard following a poor start to the season.

A player who will be hoping to add to Villa’s woes is City’s Argentinian striker Julian Alvarez.

The 22-year-old started in midweek and took his chance as he scored a brace against Nottingham Forest. The former River Plate man has set high standards since the day he walked through the door, as he even scored in Pep Guardiola’s side’s 3-1 Community Shield loss to Liverpool.

He will need two goal contributions here as a goal counts as four points for a striker.

Manchester United vs Arsenal: Bruno Fernandes - 7.5 Points

The final player on this list comes in the shape of Bruno Fernandes, who will be vital to any success that United could have against Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Fernandes managed to score his first goal of the Premier League season as United beat Southampton 1-0 at St Mary’s via a stunning volley from a Diogo Dalot cut-back. This will be a big boost to their talismanic midfielder who has scored 51 goals and created 39 assists in 130 matches for the club.

A goal for a midfielder counts as five points, whilst assists are worth three points, meaning that he would have to get two goal contributions here. Notably, Fernandes scored in United’s 3-2 home win over the Gunners last season.
