Super 6 Predictions: Round 13

Man City 4-1 Southampton

Southampton are winless this season, with only one point from 24 available. Manchester City are unbeaten this season after eight games, with six wins and two draws.

Pep Guardiola's side are the top scorers in the Premier League with 19 goals, facing the second-worst defence in the league as the Saints have conceded 18 goals in eight games. Manchester City have no losses in their previous 13.

Manchester City have not lost a Premier League game since December 2023, when they lost to Aston Villa. Southampton are winless in their last seven in all competitions and are without a clean sheet in their previous ten. Both teams have scored in five of the last six involving Manchester City and five of the last six involving Southampton.

Aston Villa 3-2 AFC Bournemouth

Aston Villa have only lost once in their last five home games in the Premier League, stretching back to last season.

Unai Emery’s side are unbeaten in their previous three home games since the 2-0 defeat to Arsenal earlier in the campaign. Aston Villa are unbeaten in their last three meetings with Bournemouth, with the Cherries failing to keep a clean sheet in that time.

This fixture tends to provide goals, with both teams scoring in five of the last seven meetings and Over 2.5 goals occurring in six of the previous seven between the two teams. Bournemouth have conceded first in five of their previous seven, with the Cherries only winning once in their last five away outings.

Everton 2-1 Fulham

Everton are unbeaten in their last five games in all competitions. Since the defeat against Aston Villa, the Toffees have steadied the ship under Sean Dyche, having won twice in their last five and obtaining three draws.

Heading into this encounter, Everton are unbeaten in their last two home games, since their home defeat against Bournemouth, with one win and a draw. Neither side are particularly known for great defensive records, with both teams scoring in five of the last seven involving Everton and six of the previous seven involving Fulham.

The Toffees have scored first in six of their previous eight, with Fulham only winning once in their last four away games.

Chelsea 2-1 Newcastle United

Chelsea are in much better form than Newcastle United, having won three of their previous five games, compared to Newcastle United, who have only won once in their last five - drawing twice and losing twice.

Away from home, Eddie Howe's side have only won once in their four away fixtures this season and are winless in their last two games on their travels.

This game should provide goals for either side, as neither has kept a clean sheet in the last five meetings, with both teams scoring in each of the previous five fixtures.

Newcastle's record at Stamford Bridge is less than desirable, having not won there since 2012. The Blues have won four of the last five meetings against Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge.

West Ham 1-2 Manchester United

West Ham come into this game amidst a very poor run of form having won only one of their last seven games, the most recent of which was a 4-1 defeat away at Tottenham.

Man United's form isn't brilliant, but they've only lost one of their last eight games and are coming off the back of a 2-1 win against Brentford, a game in which they delivered a promising second half performance.

On top of that, the Red Devils have a strong head-to-head record against West Ham winning four of the last seven meetings. Both teams to score has occurred in four of West Ham's last five games and three of Man United's last five, so we expect both sides to find the back of the net.

Arsenal 1-1 Liverpool

This game looks extremely tough to call on paper. Arsenal have only lost once in their previous nine home fixtures in the Premier League, with their most recent defeat at the Emirates being the 2-0 defeat against Aston Villa during the latter stages of last season.

Liverpool have won their previous seven, with the Reds having won seven of their eight Premier League fixtures this season. Arne Slot’s men are unbeaten away from home this season, with four wins from four in the Premier League.

In this fixture, Arsenal are without a clean sheet in their last eight and both teams have scored in five of the last six meetings between the two sides.
