Super 6 Predictions: Round 20

Super 6

Crystal Palace 0-2 Newcastle United

Crystal Palace are winless in their last three games and the Eagles have only won once in the Premier League this season. The hosts have an unfortunate record of having the fourth-worst home record in the Premier League - which would ultimately place the Eagles in 17th, two places higher than their current ranking. Crystal Palace are without a clean sheet in their previous four, facing a Newcastle United side who rank just inside the top ten on away form.

The Magpies have won three of their last four in all competitions, having also won their most recent away fixture against Nottingham Forest. Less than 2.5 goals have been scored in seven of the previous nine involving Newcastle United and in six of the last seven meetings between the two teams.

Brentford 3-0 Leicester City

All signs point towards a Brentford win over a Leicester City side who may still be managerless at the weekend.

Brentford have been magnificent at home, with five wins and a draw from six, and they possess the best home record in the league. Brentford's attacking output is rather incredible, as the Bees have averaged at least three goals per game on home soil.

Leicester City's recent form, has led the club to dismiss Steve Cooper, as the Foxes are winless in their previous five and are without a clean sheet in six. Defensively, Leicester City have been poor, having conceded first in each of their last six.

Nottingham Forest 1-1 Ipswich Town

Nottingham Forest have slowly drifted down the table following their impressive run in October which saw them reach the heights of third place in the league.

Ipswich Town have improved in recent weeks as Kieran McKenna's side are now unbeaten in their previous three - following the recent draw against Manchester United. Nottingham Forest have made a habit of scoring first in five of their previous six, with Ipswich Town conceding first against Manchester United last time out.

Expect goals in this fixture for both sides, as both teams have scored in seven of the last eight involving the Tractor Boys. Ipswich Town are without a clean sheet in their last six meetings against Nottingham Forest. A draw is a likely outcome between a Forest side who have lost their last two and an Ipswich side who are unbeaten in three.

West Ham 1-3 Arsenal

Both of these sides are coming into this game on the back of two impressive results; however, Arsenal's recent upturn in form since the international break should put them in good stead against West Ham United.

The Gunners have won both of their fixtures since the break, including a 5-1 win over Sporting CP to end their opponents unbeaten run of 18 games. Arsenal have no losses in their previous three and have shown a great potency in front of goal by scoring first in six of the last eight. This fixture tends to provide goals, as six of the last eight meetings have produced Over 2.5 goals.

Chelsea 2-1 Aston Villa

Chelsea are unbeaten in their last four Premier League games and the Blues boast a terrific record in this fixture, having not lost in the last three meetings between the two teams.

The Blues have won five of the previous seven meetings at Stamford Bridge between the two teams. Expect goals in this fixture, as both teams have scored in 83% of Chelsea's home league games this season and in 83% of Aston Villa's away fixtures.

Nicolas Jackson has certainly shown improvement in this Chelsea side, as the Senegalese international has seven goals this season and has scored three in his last five Premier League games.

Liverpool 2-1 Manchester City

Liverpool have won their previous six in all competitions, whilst Arne Slot's Liverpool side are also unbeaten in their last 15.

Manchester City are experiencing their worst spell of form under Pep Guardiola, with the Champions winless and without a clean sheet in their previous six. Liverpool have shown a great potency in front of goal, having scored first in five of their previous six.

Games involving Manchester City have recently been a spectacle of goals, with both teams scoring in five of the last six involving the visitors. In this fixture, neither side has kept a clean sheet in the previous four meetings, with both teams scoring in nine of the previous ten between the two teams.

Over 2.5 goals have been scored in five of the last seven involving Liverpool and six of the last seven involving Manchester City.
