He is one of the few contenders with previous experience over this distance, and has form that ties in with the best stayer in the division- Kyprios.

He was just beaten by the O’Brien superstar in this race 12 months ago, and the selection has since bounced back to form after beating the reappearing Coltrane by five lengths on his latest start.

Plenty going in his favour, with William Buick also booked to take the ride.
