Maidstone vs Chesterfield: Chesterfield to win & Both Teams To Score – 5/2

The league leaders are in action at Maidstone on Saturday, looking to continue their unbeaten start to the Vanarama National League season.

Maidstone have gone three games without a win, losing two of their last three, which leaves them in 15th spot after nine games. The Stones were easily beaten 3-0 away to Bromley last time out.

Chesterfield are one point above Wrexham at the top of the league table, winning six of their opening nine games and not tasting a single defeat so far. The 2-2 draw away to Yeovil last weekend put an end to their four-game winning streak, so the Spireites will want to return to winning ways against a Maidstone side sitting in the bottom half.

Both teams have scored in five of Chesterfield’s last six games, with Paul Cook’s side coming out on top in four of those five.

Wrexham vs Torquay: Wrexham to win & Over 3.5 Goals – 7/4

Hot on the tail of Chesterfield, Wrexham host Torquay on Saturday aiming to keep the pressure on and push for that illustrious promotion.

The Welsh outfit, with owners Ryan Reynolds and Ryan McElhenney at the helm and pushing for that historic promotion, have made a good start with six wins and just the one defeat (away to Chesterfield) in their opening nine games. It leaves Wrexham two points clear of third-placed Solihull Moors heading into the weekend.

Phil Parkinson’s side have won four of their last five and will be confident of continuing that good run with a win over a Torquay outfit that sits in 20th place following just one win in their last seven.

There have been over 3.5 goals in five of Wrexham’s last six games, with no one in the division scoring more goals than the Dragons.

Eastleigh vs FC Halifax Town: BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals – 5/4

Eastleigh and FC Halifax lock horns this weekend with both sides looking to bounce back from defeat last time out.

The hosts are winless in their last four games following defeat at Oldham last weekend, losing three of those four. It leaves the Spitfires 12th in the table.

Despite being in 21st position, FC Halifax are just three points behind their weekend opponents and could climb up the table with a win. The Shaymen were hammered 5-1 away to Aldershot last weekend, after winning two of their last three games before that.

There have been over 2.5 goals with both teams scoring in four of Eastleigh’s last five games.

Scunthorpe vs Dorking Wanderers: Dorking to win – 29/20

Dorking will want to make it three wins on the bounce when they travel to Glanford Park to take on a struggling Scunthorpe side on Saturday.

The Iron are second-from-bottom, level on points with rock-bottom Altrincham, after just one win and six defeats from their opening nine games. They have drawn their last two games against Alty and York City, coming after a run of six straight defeats.

Dorking have surprised a few this season following their promotion from the National League South. Wanderers are 11th and just three points off the play-offs at this early stage despite being tipped to struggle after the step up. The win over promotion candidates Notts County last weekend was their second win in a row.

Wealdstone sits in sixth spot, two points behind third-placed Solihull. Stuart Maynard’s side drew last time out against Torquay – their fourth consecutive league draw. They could climb as high as third with a win and will fancy their chances of picking up three points against a Southend side that are 17th in the table following three defeats in their last five.
