We've seen some superb goals scored over the course of the 2018/19 but this one is going to take some serious beating. Almost all the attention last night was revolving around Manchester United and Arsenal's huge clash at Old Trafford so it would be easy to forget about the various over games on.
North of the border in the SPL there was a full fixture list and one moment from the Hibernian v St. Mirren game stood out ahead of all the other games.
St. Mirren have endured a tough season so far but one man who has impressed is former Barnsley and Wolves man, Adam Hammill. The winger is enjoying his football in Scotland and on Wednesday night he produced his finest moment in a Saints shirt yet, scoring an absolutely sublime effort from his own half to give St. Mirren at early lead at Easter Road.
Former Liverpool man Adam Bogdan was between the sticks for Hibernian and he looked stunned as he scurried back to try and deny the winger to no avail.
We have no idea whatsoever what was going through Hammill's head when he went for it, but his technique and execution were outrageously good. If this was scored in the Premier League we wouldn't hear the end of it so Hammill deserves an awful lot of credit for going for it and pulling it off - take a bow!
