Thursday night was an important one for Celtic, with their Europa League future hanging in the balance. The Bhoys knew that a point would seal their progression through into the round of 32 so their fate was firmly in their own hands. But it wasn't a simple task, with them facing a Salzburg side that had won all 5 of their group games to seal top spot. Celtic went behind on 67 minutes to Munas Dabbur and they were desperately trying to get back into the game, only to be undone by a moment of madness by goalkeeper Craig Gordon.
After collecting the ball, the 35 year-old looked to start a quick counter attack but instead his attempted throw met the boot of Salzburg's Fredrik Gulbrand, who strolled through and tapped the ball into an empty night. It was a hugely embarrassing moment for the Scotland international who looked absolutely devastated as he know he could've cost his side in the next round.
But fortunately for Gordon, his Karius impression meant little in the end after Rosenborg snatched a late equaliser against RB Leipzig which ensured that they went through in second position - so he's a VERY lucky boy!
