Scotland vs Brazil: 35/1 Bet Builder Tip

Scotland face a crucial game in their quest to qualify for the knockout stages of a major tournament for the first time in their history as they lock horns with Brazil.

The Scots sit 3rd in their group with three points and a goal difference of 0. As long as they avoid a heavy beating here, they’ll be confident of qualifying as one of the best 3rd place teams.

There is, though, still much uncertainty surrounding the points total and goal difference tally that will required to secure a spot in the knockout stages.

Brazil, meanwhile, are hoping to secure top spot in the group. The Selecao are top of the group on goal difference, with two goals on Morocco in 2nd.

Morocco beat Scotland 1-0 so Brazil know that if they beat that scoreline, they’re pretty likely to pip the African side to top spot.

It won’t be easy, though, as Scotland know that a point will send them through to the knockout stages so they’ll be as dogged as they come.

We have, then, picked out a 35/1 bet builder tip for Wednesday's game. Scroll down to see our selections!

    Bet Builder Reasoning

    Brazil To Win

Brazil are ranked 36 places above Scotland in the world rankings and are in good form, with four wins and one draw from their last five games. Scotland, though, have been up and down in terms of form, losing four of their last eight games.

    Matheus Cunha To Score First

Matheus Cunha has enjoyed a good campaign for Manchester United and there are signs that he’s set to translate that form to international duty, where he scored twice against Haiti last week. Form-wise, Cunha has five goals in his last eight games for club and country.

    Ryan Christie To Be Carded

Scotland’s Ryan Christie is one of the more industrious midfielders around, and that’s reflected in his booking average, with the Scotsman averaging 0.4 cards per 90 when representing the Tartan Army.

Vinicius Jr To Have 1+ Shots On Target

A lot of expected of Vinicius in this World Cup and the winger has started the tournament strongly. He’s a persistent attacking threat for the Selecao, averaging one shot on target per 90.

Rayan To Have 1+ Shots On Target

Winger Rayan is one of the most exciting young players in the league and he's never afraid to take a shot on goal, averaging one shot on target per 90 at international level.
