Scotland vs Morocco: 59/1 Bet Builder Tip

The Scots have a huge opportunity to confirm their place in the knockout stage of a major tournament for the first time in their history as they lock horns with Morocco in Boston at the 2026 World Cup.

Scotland face an uphill task here but will be buoyed by the fact they got three points on the board in their opener against Haiti.

The performance wasn't convincing, but that will matter little to Steve Clarke and co as they attempt to build momentum in what they hope will be a long tournament.

Morocco, though, are in a good place of their own having delivered one of the more impressive showings of the opening World Cup match day.

The North Africans drew 1-1 with Brazil but were largely the better side, dominating the midfield battle with youngster Ayyoub Bouaddi stealing the show.

We have, then, picked out a 59/1 bet builder tip for Friday's game. Scroll down to see our selections!

    Bet Builder Reasoning

    Morocco To Win

Morocco are ranked 7th in the world at present and looked every bit a top ten team in their World Cup opener against Brazil, where they were largely the better side in a 1-1 draw. Scotland, ranked 47th, made hard work of a 1-0 win over Haiti and were nowhere near as convincing. Morocco's form is also imperious, with the Atlas Lions unbeaten in 30 games.

    Lewis Ferguson To Be Carded

Lewis Ferguson is a card-magnet when playing in midfield for both club and country, with the Scotland international averaging 0.35 cards per 90.

    Ayyoub Bouaddi To Be Carded

Ayyoub Bouaddi delivered an impressive World Cup debut in the middle of the park against Brazil, but the midfielder is prone to a booking here and there, averaging 0.29 cards per 90.

Scott McTominay To Have 1+ Shots On Target

Scott McTominay is a well known talisman for the Tartan Army and if Scotland are going to get anything from this game, his contributions will likely be key. McTominay enters this one having averaged 1.19 shots on target per 90 for Scotland in the last year.

Ismael Saibari To Have 1+ Shots On Target

Ismael Saibari opened his World Cup account with an excellently taken goal against Brazil last week, and the Moroccan forward averages 0.7 shots on target per 90 for the national team.
