Birmingham City host Blackpool at St Andrew’s on Saturday in a battle of 17th versus 11th in the Championship.
Lee Bowyer’s side are on a three-game winless run following their 0-0 draw at high-flying Coventry City on Tuesday night, as the Blues had been beaten 2-0 and 2-1 by Hull City and Reading prior to their midlands clash. Before their winless run, Birmingham had defeated both Middlesbrough 2-0 and Bristol City 3-0 with Riley McGree, Scott Hogan and Gary Gardner all scoring in the latter.
Meanwhile, the Tangerines are on a four-game winless run of which Neil Critchley will be desperate to see his side end, as they have drawn their last three matches 0-0 against West Bromwich Albion, as well as 1-1 versus both Swansea City and QPR and lost 1-0 to Stoke City. Blackpool’s last win came against Sheffield United in late October as Keshi Anderson scored the only goal of the game at Bramall Lane.
With both sides out of form in the Championship, this is a difficult game to predict, on this occasion, the side with the home advantage should fancy their chances of picking up all three points.
Birmingham City 2-1 Blackpool 15/2
