We have a cracker in store for the DFB-Pokal final in Germany this weekend as RB Leipzig face Entracht Frankfurt.
RB Leipzig reached the final of the DFB-Pokal Teutonia Ottensen, Hamburg, Hoffenheim, Borussia Dortmund and Freiburg.
After a rocky start to the campaign Leipzig have recovered admirably and are on the verge of a very successful season having secured 3rd place in the Bundesliga table.
They're coming into this game in outstanding form, too, having won their last six consecutive matches while also winning nine of their last ten games.
Their most recent game saw them claim a 4-2 win over Schalke 04, a result that ended up relegating their opponents.
Frenchman Christopher Nkunku scored twice in that game and Leipzig will be delighted to have their star man fit and firing again after a long period out with injury as he enters this game boasting four goals in his last five matches.
Leipzig are monsters in this competition and they come into this game about to play their fourth final in that last five years having won the trophy last year by beating Freiburg on penalties.
To win this competition in consecutive years would be a huge feat for Leipzig and given their form one has to say they are favourites.
Eintracht Frankfurt reached the final of the DFB-Pokal by beating Magdeburg, Stuttgarter Kickers, Darmstadt, Union Berlin and Stuttgart.
Eintracht have had a decent campaign this season having secured a 7th place finish in the league, improving on last season's 11th place finish, while reaching the final of this competition.
Some might say they've underachieved in the league given they boast a number of players that are currently coveted by Europe's elite, but they missed out on 6th place on goal difference only.
They're coming into this game in good form having won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five matches having also taken seven points from their final three Bundesliga games.
On the final day of the season Eintracht claimed a very good win at home to 5th place Freiburg, running out 2-1 winners.
Two of Eintracht's most highly sought after players, French forward Randal Kolo Muani and Japanese midfielder Daichi Kamada, both come into this game in good form having bagged three goals in their last five matches.
These two sides are 1-1 in head-to-head meetings so far this season with both sides winning their respective games on home soil, with Eintracht winning 4-0 back in September before Leipzig claimed revenge in February with a 2-1 win.
It does, then, look like we're in for a corker of a final that is very tough to call.
For our RB Leipzig vs. Eintracht Frankfurt prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for Leipzig after extra time.
