Sheffield United will open their doors to Tottenham Hotspur at Bramall Lane this weekend with the Championship side looking for another win just as the Premier League outfit bid in desperation for a cup run.
It's been a sensational season for Sheffield United so far and after returning to the win column with a narrow 1-0 win over Watford, they are once again way clear of third place in the second tier. The Blades also have a game in hand to play over Middlesbrough just below them in the table and they already boast of a gap worth seven points.
Paul Heckingbottom's men did lose twice in a row this month, however, as Boro got a sensational 3-1 win at Bramall Lane just before a 3-2 loss to Millwall at The Den. Nevertheless, these two defeats are part of only seven in the Championship this season.
As for Spurs, they got a sensational London derby win over Chelsea last weekend, as Oliver Skipp riffled in his first goal of the season just before Harry Kane continued his brilliance this season with a goal late on in the game.
Spurs are up into fourth now in the Premier League, but Manchester United in third are four clear with a game in hand. What's more, Antonio Conte's side are ahead of Newcastle United by just four points while also having played two more games. Simply put, Spurs's spot in the Champions League positions could disappear very soon.
