We have a mouth-watering relegation six pointer in League One this weekend as Accrington Stanley face Cambridge United.
Accrington Stanley currently sit 22nd in League One with ten wins, eleven draws and twenty-three losses from forty-four games this season.
Stanley have had a dismal campaign having struggled for almost the whole of it and they find themselves desperately attempting to claw their way out of the relegation zone in the final two matches of the season.
They enter this game on poor form overall having lost four of their last five games, but having won their most recent match away at 5th place Bolton Wanderers on Wednesday night there is hope they can rally to survival in these last two games.
Stanley ran out 1-0 winners in Bolton courtesy of an Ethan Hamilton goal to give them an invaluable three points.
Their form at home is a worry, though, having won one and lost four of their last five matches on home soil.
Stanley are two points shy of safety with two games to go so all is still to play for. They likely need to win both of their final games to be sure of survival and given this is a game against a fellow relegation contender this is a must-win.
Cambridge United currently sit 23rd in League One with eleven wins, seven draws and twenty-five losses from forty-three games this season.
Cambridge have had a dismal time of things in League One this season having embarked upon a poor run to end the season.
They're still relatively well placed to secure survival despite sitting second bottom in the table having played one game fewer than the sides around them while having a very kind run-in in terms of fixture difficulty.
They enter this game in solid form having won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five matches, but having lost their last two of the bounce there is some concern regarding their trajectory.
Their most recent result saw them fall to a 3-1 defeat away at Plymouth Argyle, an understandable result given Plymouth are currently the league leaders.
Cambridge were beaten 0-1 by Accrington back in November so they'll want to get one back here, and given what is at stake this is not a game they can afford to lose.
Cambridge sit three points shy of safety with a game in hand over those around them and given they play Burton Albion and Forest Green Rovers in their two games after this they should feel capable of surviving in this league.
For our Accrington vs. Cambridge prediction, we're going for a 1-0 win for the home side.
