Bolton Wanderers are looking to get back on form as they face Leyton Orient in League One this weekend.
Bolton Wanderers currently sit 5th in League One with twelve wins, three draws and five losses from twenty games this season.
The Trotters have been good on the whole this season but are thus far looking slightly short of their expectation that they'd be one of the runaway automatic promotion contenders.
They're coming into this game somewhat out of form having won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five games.
Most recently Bolton fell to a disappointing 1-2 defeat at home to Bristol Rovers, a hugely deflating defeat that followed a pretty comprehensive 2-0 loss at Portsmouth in their game prior that has cast doubt over their status as automatic promotion favourites.
The Bristol Rovers defeat aside, their form at home has been very good this season as they come into this one having won eight of their last ten games on home soil, so they'll be thankful they're in front of their own fans at a time when they need a win.
Three weeks ago this is a game you would've backed Bolton to win comfortably without hesitation, but their two-match losing streak is enough to make you uncertain over their mental state so while three points is still likely here it's far from a given.
Leyton Orient currently sit 14th in League One with six wins, seven draws and eight losses from twenty-one games this season.
It's been a wholly successful season for Orient in light of their promotion from League Two last time out as they look well on track to safety which, despite the exploits of Stevenage, was in fact their ultimate goal.
They're coming into this one fairly out of form, however, having won one, drawn two and lost two of their last five games.
Their most recent game, though, was the one they won where they ran out 2-1 winners over Cheltenham Town in dramatic fashion thanks to goals at the death from Shaq Forde (89') and Ethan Galbraith (90+3').
The manner of that win will have them on cloud nine and it was a welcome victory given the winless run they were on.
They're a fairly solid outfit away from home as they come into this one having lost just one of their last six games on the road so they'll fancy themselves to take a point off a wounded Bolton side, even if it's quite a long shot.
For our Bolton vs. Leyton Orient prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for the home side.
