Derby County look to out pressure on Bolton Wanderers this weekend with a win away to Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium where the home team have jumped into the top half of the table.
It's been a much better few weeks for Bristol with the club defeating Leyton Orient last time out and Carlisle United before that - Chris Martin and Scott Sinclair scored against Carlisle before Martin netted again against Leyton Orient.
The two-game winning run puts Bristol up into 11th and back into the top half of the table, and they are also now ahead of Wigan Athletic in 13th and in the bottom half by five points. Rovers have also managed to pick up all three points away to Stevenage this past month and have also defeated Exeter City on the road back in early February just one week on from a home win against Oxford United.
Derby are in third and one point behind Bolton in the League One standings. This sees the Rams with 21 wins from 36, and although this is just one win less than Portsmouth, the club are coming into this game seven behind the league leaders. Worse yet, with Barnsley and Peterborough United just behind them having games in hand, the club are at risk of losing grip on third too.
The Rams eased to all three points against Port Vale last time out, and this also ended a two-game losing run after a home loss to Charlton Athletic and a loss by the same scoreline to fellow promotion hopefuls Barnsley. Regardless, and despite Bristol's impressive form, Derby fans should be confident in getting the job done here.
