A struggling Cheltenham Town side are hoping to turn their fortunes around as they face Barnsley in League One this weekend.
Cheltenham Town currently sit rock bottom of League One with one draw and four losses from their first five games of the season.
A 0-0 draw away Portsmouth came amidst losses against Shrewsbury Town, 1-0, Bolton Wanderers, 0-3, Reading, 1-0, and Northampton Town, 0-1.
The Robins have struggled greatly in the early portion of this season and are looking very much like they're set to be what most people tipped them to be coming into the campaign - a primary relegation contender.
Their most recent game saw them lose 0-1 to Northampton Town in what was another mightily disappointing performance.
Cheltenham currently have one of the most unwanted records in the English Football League as they're the only club in England's top four divisions yet to score a single goal.
At present it looks like Cheltenham are a long way off the level required to be a solid League One side and have a lot of work to do. Another loss here would only further add to their misery and going off recent performances it's hard to back against that.
Barnsley currently sit 12th in League One with two wins, one draw and two losses from five games so far this season.
The Tykes have claimed wins against Port Vale, 7-0, and Wigan Athletic, 2-0, while drawing 1-1 with Bristol Rovers on top of 3-1 losses at the hands of Peterborough United and Oxford United.
It's been a fairly disappointing start to the season for Barnsley whose fans would very much have hoped their side would mount another promotion push following their agonising defeat at Wembley in the play-off final last season.
However, a couple of damning losses to Peterborough and Oxford had poured cold water over much of the optimism surrounding their promotion prospects until they reinjected a sense of optimism into their fanbase with a 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic last weekend.
Wigan had started the season excellently and most fancied them to beat Barnsley following a thumping 4-0 win over Barnsley the week prior but goals from Devante Cole and John McAtee were enough to seal all three points for the visiting Tykes.
They're now coming into this game with momentum behind them and as they face a side struggling for form they'll feel their opponents are there for the taking.
