Morecambe are fighting for their life in League One on the final day of the season with the club set to head on the road to meet with an Exeter City side who have nothing to play for on gameweek 46.
Morecambe have turned up the form when they needed it most and now head into this game off the back of winning their past three games.
This started out with a 1-0 victory over Wycombe Wanderers before then defeating Charlton Athletic 3-2 away from home soon after. Lincoln City were up next for the Shrimps last weekend, and Cole Stockton netted another brace that day alongside a winner from Oumar Niasse.
It puts the club just one point behind MK Dons in the fight to stay out of the bottom four, and they will need to better the result of the Dons because of their poor defensive record forcing an inferior goals difference tally.
The Shrimps are heading into this game with 10 wins from the 45 outings this season and 21 losses on the board too, but only those in the bottom two have let in more goals than them.
Exeter have nothing to play for in this game and they are simply looking to move on from their terrible 6-0 loss away to Ipswich Town last time out.
They are sitting 14th ahead of the final day of the season and now come into the final game of the season with no chance to move any higher in the table but with a chance to move down into 17th if other results go against them.
