Fleetwood vs. Lincoln City Prediction, Tips & Stats

For our Fleetwood vs. Lincoln prediction, we're going for a 1-0 win for the home side.

Two sides destined for mid-table in League One meet this weekend as Fleetwood Town host Lincoln City.

Fleetwood Town currently sit 12th in League One with eleven wins, thirteen draws and thirteen losses from thirty-seven games this season.

The Cod Army have been consistently mediocre in League One this season having spent the majority of the campaign in and around the middle of the table with few prospects to improve that from here until the season's finish.

They enter this game amidst a solid run of form in the league having won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five matches.

Most recently The Cod Army claimed a very impressive 2-0 win away at Derby County.

Their form at home has been very impressive in recent weeks having drawn one and won three of their last four games on home soil.

Fleetwood's season is as good as over at this point with few prospects of making a late run for the play-offs and almost no concern regarding relegation. However, last weekend's result suggests they won't be taking their last few games lightly will provide Lincoln with a stern test.

Lincoln City currently sit 14th in League One with nine wins, eighteen draws and nine losses from thirty-six games this season.

Like their opponents, Lincoln's season is petering out into insignificance with almost nothing to play for and it's beginning to show in their results.

They enter this game amidst a shoddy run of form having won just one of their last five games while losing their last two on the bounce, the most recent of which was a 0-3 thumping at home to Peterborough United - their first defeat on home soil in the league this season.

Their form away from home is largely unimpressive too, with The Imps winning just one of their last five games on the road.

These two sides drew 2-2 when they met in the league back in August and a share of the spoils does not feel an unlikely outcome here. If any side is going to win it, though, it might just be the home side.
