Fleetwood Town will welcome Shrewsbury Town to Highbury this weekend with both sides aiming for a swift return to the win column after recent defeats last weekend as Scott Brown's men aim for their first victory of the campaign.
It's been a terrible season for Brown and his side so far, as they are even out of the EFL Cup at the first round after a loss to Port Vale. Fleetwood did score twice in that 3-2 loss, as Ryan Graydon and Cian Hayes scored a goal each.
Fleetwood have also suffered a loss to Cambridge United and Bolton Wanderers shortly after that cup loss, as Josh Earl scored late on in the 3-1 defeat to Bolton Wanderers. Fleetwood drew 1-1 with Carlisle United in a 1-1 draw on the opening day too.
As for Shrewsbury, they have managed to beat Cheltenham Town on the opening day of the season with a goal from Ryan Bowman, as the club also defeated Burton Albion with a 2-1 win after finishes from Tom Bayliss and Chey Dunkley.
Further losses to Stevenage and Lincoln City leave Salop in mid-table, while Leeds United also beat them in the EFL Cup first round after a 2-1 win.
