Two sides gunning for the play-offs meet in League One this weekend as Lincoln City host Barnsley.
Lincoln City currently sit 9th in League One with seven wins, five draws and six losses from eighteen games this season.
The Imps are looking an improved outfit from the one that managed a mediocre mid-table finish last time out as they sit just one point shy of the play-off spots.
They're entering this game amidst a pretty poor run of form in the league, however, having won one, drawn two and lost two of their last five games.
That win did come in their most recent meeting, however, as they ran out 1-0 winners over Leyton Orient with Ethan Hamilton snatching all three points for the Imps in the 89th minute.
Lincoln were extremely strong at home last season but they come into this game currently in a mixed run of home form having won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five games on home soil.
Lincoln's major problem of late has been in the goalscoring department, with Mark Kennedy's men managing just three goals in their last five outings.
They've got a tough test awaiting them here and they need to be at their best in order to get a result.
Barnsley currently sit 6th in League One with eight wins, three draws and five losses from sixteen games this season.
The Tykes are having a solid campaign despite losing a few key cogs of the machine that got them to the brink of promotion last season as they look to work towards more consistency in the division.
They're entering this game in the midst of a middling run of form in the league, though, having won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five games.
Their most recent outing saw them fall to a resounding 3-0 loss away at Derby County, a result that will be a fairly significant concern to those in and around the club given the one-sided nature of the game.
That game aside they have been pretty decent away from home lately as they'd won three and drawn one of their four away games prior to that loss, so they'll be looking to get back to winning ways here.
Barnsley are winless against Lincoln in any of the last three head-to-head meetings (W0 D1 L2) so they may have their work cut out in this one.
Both sides are in somewhat unconvincing form at the minute so it's hard to predict which way this will go; it may be that the two teams end up cancelling one another out.
For our Lincoln vs. Barnsley prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.
