For our Morecambe vs. Forest Green prediction, we're going for a 1-0 win for the home side.
A struggling Forest Green Rovers side are searching for a much-needed win in League One this weekend as they travel to face Morecambe.
Morecambe currently sit 21st in League One with six wins, nine draws and thirteen losses from twenty-eight games this season.
The Shrimps have struggled immensely for the most part this season and looked almost a certainty for relegation at one point, but a recent run of wins has ignited hope amongst the fanbase as they now look as though they have a fighting chance of survival.
They enter this game in decent form having won three and lost two of their last five matches in League One, with their most recent game a sobering 5-0 hammering at Derby County.
The Rams are on fire at the top end of League One so there's not too much shame in the defeat, but they must now brush themselves off ahead of a gargantuan encounter.
Morecambe's home form has been excellent of late, winning each of their last four consecutive league matches on home soil so they can be optimistic of a fifth straight home win here.
The Shrimps badly need to win this game and as they sit just one point from safety it could lift them out of the relegation zone.
Forest Green Rovers are currently rock bottom of League One with five wins, six draws and nineteen losses from thirty games this season.
Forest Green have struggled for practically the entire campaign and are looking increasingly like a lost cause as the weeks go by as they now sit seven points from safety amidst a dismal run of form.
They enter this game having lost each of their last five consecutive matches in all competitions while losing nine and drawing one of their last ten.
Most recently, Forest Green were beaten comfortably 0-2 by Peterborough United.
Their away record is no more encouraging having drawn one and lost four of their last five matches on the road.
Forest Green were also beaten 1-2 by Morecambe when the two sides last met in the league back in September, and given Morecambe's form that does not bode well here.
A loss in this one would be catastrophic for Forest Green's survival chances given they're facing a relegation rival, but unfortunately there's little to suggest they're capable of taking three points here.
