Two sides sitting outside of the top 10 in League One are set to meet at Adams Park this weekend with Wycombe Wanderers set to welcome the struggling Carlisle United to their own backyard.
Carlisle have had a tough time in what is their first season back in League One for a number of years. The club are also coming into the game with a few injuries to deal with, and yet another defeat at Brunton Park where Derby County ran out 2-0 winners.
Carlisle also drew their games before this as well, meaning a winless spell during their past four games after also losing to Accrington Stanley in the Football League Trophy group stages by a 1-0 scoreline. The draws saw the Cumbrians tie with Stevenage and Lincoln City where goals from Luke Plange, Sean Maguire and Joe Garner secured a point in both games.
The last win for Carlisle saw them defeat Shrewsbury Town 2-9 where Joe Garner scored a goal in the 96th minute of the game after an own goal gave them the lead. The club did, however, have just two shots on target that day, which was the third time this season in which they have had less than three shots on target.
As for Wycombe, they are in a little bit of better form with a recent 2-0 win over Blackpool seeing them move up into 11th. However, Matt Bloomfield continues to struggle with consistency at the helm of the club with Crystal Palace U21s falling to a 1-0 defeat at Adams Park in the EFL Trophy, while they lost 3-1 to Charlton Athletic last time out where Freddie Potts scored.
