Accrington Stanley will welcome Stockport County to the Wham Stadium with both sides near one another in the league table after the Hatters jumped into the top 10 after a sensational victory at home to Wrexham last time out.
Isaac Olaofe was the hero that day for Stockport in a 5-0 battering over their former National League foes, as he bagged a hat-trick alongside a first goal of the season from Paddy Madden and yet another finish from the in-form loan star, Louie Barry.
The club have now moved up to ninth in the table as they aim to find some consistency and move on from their dreadful start to the season that saw them down in the bottom six just a matter of weeks ago. The runners-up in the League Two playoffs last season have now won four games and lost three and scored 17 goals so far - only Wrexham, Swindon Town and Notts County have bagged more than they have.
Stockport have, however, still managed to concede 12 but they have now won their past three games with more wins of Wimbledon and MK Dons.
As for Accrington, they are down in 12th after a return to losing ways that saw Tranmere Rovers run out 2-0 winners over them. Stanley did, however, smash Sutton United last time out with a 4-1 win over them thanks to goals from Rosaire Longelo, Joe Pritchard and Tommy Leigh.
Further wins in the past month for the club have seen them defeat Salford City in League Two and also beat Carlisle United in the Football League Trophy group stages. However, with defeats to Notts County and Mansfield Town during this time, the club remain out of the top half of the table.
