Morecambe are looking to continue their excellent form in League Two as they face Barrow on Tuesday night.
Barrow currently sit 11th in League Two with five wins, seven draws and three losses from fifteen games so far this season.
It's been a solid yet underwhelming season for Barrow thus far who harboured hopes, and still do, coming into the season of a top seven finish but have not been as consistently strong as they would have liked.
They're coming into this game in pretty poor form in the league having won just one of their last six matches, the most recent of which was a 0-0 draw against Salford City.
The positive spin is that the draw against Salford means they've now lost only one of their last five league games but with four of them being draws that will do little to please an eager fanbase.
Manager Pete Wild will, though, be pleased that his side have kept three clean sheets on the bounce now and having taken four points from their last two games they can feel confident ahead of what is a tough game.
Their form at home is identical to their overall form having won one and drawn four of their last five in the league so home advantage may not be that impactful here, but they should provide a stern test for an in form Morecambe side.
Morecambe currently sit 6th in League Two with eight wins, three draws and three losses from fourteen games so far this season.
It's been an excellent campaign for a Morecambe side from which little was expected coming into the season and they'll now feel more than emboldened in their push for a top seven finish.
They enter this game amidst a very strong run of form, unbeaten in their last seven league games having won five of them.
Their latest outing saw them claim a huge 4-1 win at home to AFC Wimbledon, with a hat-trick from Michael Mellon and a Joe Lewis own goal enough to secure a big victory for Wimbledon.
The win means they've now won their last four league games in a row and having also won each of their last three away from home all of the signs are pointing towards another three points for the Shrimps.
Barrow may not have won too may games of late but they're hard to beat, but momentum is so heavily on the side of the North West club we fancy a big away win here.
For our Barrow vs. Morecambe prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for the away side.
