Barrow and Salford City will come into this game off the back of two of the best results of their respective seasons with the home side aiming to get closer to the playoff spots once more with the club now up into 11th after another win.
Barrow defeated Stockport County last time out thanks to a goal from Joshua Kay at home. They were just the second team to beat County in 2023 and they are now up into 11th and behind the fifth-placed Stockport by seven points and have got their playoff march right back on track.
The club have played more games than most around them already and with them playing once more here, it does mean Barrow will enter the weekend's games having played three more games than Bradford City in eighth and even two more than Swindon Town in 10th.
Salford smashed Mansfield Town last weekend in what was arguably the best result of their 2022/23 season. Matty Lund scored twice that day, as Callum Hendry netted another alongside goals from Theo Vassell and Luke Bolton.
