Stockport County are hoping to keep Wrexham at bay at the top of the League Two table as they face Bradford City this weekend.
Bradford City currently sit 10th in League Two with nine wins, six draws and eight losses from twenty-three games this season.
Once again, the Bantams are having an underwhelming campaign despite having entered the season as one of the favourites for automatic promotion as they find themselves outside of the playoff places with over half of the games played.
Their form has, to be fair, improved of late though, as they enter this game unbeaten in their last five games having won four of them.
Their most recent game was a pretty disappointing result on the whole as they were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Morecambe. They did, though, display very commendable spirit by overturning a 0-2 deficit with two second-half goals from Clarke Oduor Bradley Halliday.
Their form has been pretty hit-and-miss of late, as they enter this game having won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five games on home soil.
Bradford still have plenty of time to mount a serious promotion push even if the automatics are a long shot at this stage, but a win here would be a serious statement and would likely put the rest of the division on watch.
It'll be an exceptionally tough game but with home advantage on their side they'll back themselves to avoid defeat at least.
Stockport County currently sit top of League Two with fifteen wins, five draws and four losses from twenty-four games this season.
Stockport are having a fine campaign and have taken the league by storm as they bid to right the wrongs of last season's unsuccessful playoff campaign.
They've been looking like the outright promotion favourite for the most part but they are coming into this game amidst a dip in form having won just two of their last six games in the league. They're still unbeaten in their last five, but they've had a frustrating excess of draws of late and they're entering this one fresh off the back of a 2-2 draw against Barrow.
Like their opponents, Stockport will be pleased by the level of character on display in that game having come from 2-0 down to salvage a point away from home against the side 4th in the league table.
Still, they need to start picking up wins if they want to remain top of the table as both Wrexham and Mansfield are flying. This is a real banana skin fixture for Stockport and despite the urgency of three points, you get the feeling they wouldn't be overly annoyed with a point here.
For our Bradford vs. Stockport prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.
