For our Crawley vs. Crewe prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.
Crawley Town attempt to pull away from the dreaded relegation zone as they host Crewe Alexandra in League Two this weekend.
Crawley Town currently sit 21st in League Two with six wins, seven draws and thirteen losses from twenty-six games this season.
Crawley's season has been nothing short of a disaster as they find themselves deep in relegation trouble having been tipped by many to challenge for promotion after a busy summer transfer window.
They enter this game in poor form, too, having won one, drawn one and lost three of their last five matches in the league.
Most recently Crawley fell to a disappointing 1-0 loss at Gillingham. The result was particularly deflating as Gillingham are a relegation rival to Crawley and they've allowed them to make up considerable ground.
Their home isn't too bad coming into this game, though, with Crawley winning two, drawing one and losing two of their last five league games on home soil having beaten promotion chasing Salford City in their most recent home game.
Crawley badly need wins considering Gillingham and Hartlepool below them are racking up points on the board as they're in serious danger of being dragged into the bottom three. This is a more than winnable game for them and one they must take three points from.
Crewe Alexandra currently sit 18th in League Two with seven wins, ten draws and ten losses from twenty-seven games this season.
The Alex have had a painfully mediocre campaign this season following relegation from league one having failed to assert themselves at this level whatsoever.
They enter this game amidst a dire run of form, too, having failed to win any of their last five matches (W0 D3 L2) while winning only one of their last ten (W1 D3 L6).
Having lost 0-2 to Leyton Orient in their most recent game on Tuesday night, they're now coming off the back of a two-match losing streak by an aggregate scoreline of 0-5.
Their away record is slightly better having won one, drawn one and lost three of their last five matches on the road, so they can take some comfort from that.
They also beat Crawley 1-0 when the two sides met in the league back in September, and given Crawley's poor form this presents as another opportunity to claim a much-needed three points.
Given we have two sides midst a pitiful run of form it seems likely they'll cancel one another out.
