For our Crawley vs. Rochdale prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for the home side.
We have a relegation six pointer in League Two this weekend as Crawley Town face Rochdale on Saturday.
Crawley Town currently sit 22nd in League Two with eight wins, nine draws and nineteen losses from thirty-six games this season.
It's been a dismal campaign for Crawley this time around with many people entering this season regarding The Red Devils as promotion contenders following big summer of investment. However, the reality has been far from that with Crawley spending the entirety of the campaign fighting for their lives at the bottom of the table.
They enter this game amidst a solid run of form, however, having won two and drawn one of their last three matches, the most recent of which was a 1-1 draw against Doncaster Rovers.
Their form at home has been decent of late too, with Crawley winning two, drawing two and losing one of their last five games on home soil.
Crawley are currently two points clear of Hartlepool in 23rd with a game in hand so things are still nervy for The Red Devils. Survival is very much in their hands are current trends are promising in terms of form but anything other than a win here will be a huge disappointment.
Rochdale currently sit 24th in League Two with six wins, eight draws and twenty-three losses from thirty-seven games this season.
It's been a dismal, dismal season for Rochdale this time around and with their chances of securing survival withering away as the weeks pass by many fans will be willing this campaign to come to a close.
They enter this game amidst a fairly poor run of form having won one, drawn two and lost two of their last five matches.
Most recently Rochdale claimed a point in a thrilling 4-4 draw against Swindon Town having secured the result with a stoppage-time equaliser. Fans will have to hope that the dramatic circumstances in which the point was gained helps spur their side on to a run of results.
Their form away from home is a huge concern here, though, having drawn one and lost four of their last five games on the road.
These two sides drew 1-1 when they locked horns in the league back in August but a repeat result will do Rochdale no good here. They're currently seven points shy of Crawley and desperately need to win this if they are to have any chance of closing the gap. Don't hold your breath, though.
