Two sides in very contrasting states are set to face off in League Two this weekend as Crawley Town face Sutton United.
Crawley Town currently sit 4th in League Two with five wins, two draws and two losses from their first nine games of the season.
Little was expected of Crawley coming into this season following such a dismal campaign last time out but they've defied the odds in the opening weeks of this campaign as they find themselves well inside the play-off positions amidst a good run of form.
Their current run sees them entering this game off the back of four consecutive wins in all competitions - and three on the bounce in the league.
Their most recent league outing saw them claim a huge three points away at Grimsby Town in a thrilling game that saw Danilo Orsi seal all three points with a 96th minute winner after goals from Liam Kelly and Ronan Darcy saw them overturn a 2-0 deficit in the first half.
Crawley are on cloud nine right now and few would have expected this turn of results after they were battered 6-0 away at Swindon Town towards the end of August.
Their form at home has been very strong, too, with Crawley having won four of their last five - including both of their last two - games on their own patch.
The the clear, clear favourites to win this game and anything less than three points here will be a massive disappointment.
Sutton United currently sit rock bottom of the League Two table with one win, one draw and seven losses from their first nine games of the season.
It's been a miserable start to the season for Sutton who on a grim run of form with little cause for optimism in sight.
After beating current league leaders Notts County 5-1 on the opening day of the season, a result that is looking more bizarre as the weeks pass by, Sutton have not won a single game and they're coming into this one having lost four of their last five games.
They did, at least, draw their most recent game as they held MK Dons to a 1-1 draw at home last weekend and while it's not a win they did at least arrest a horrible run of seven straight league defeats.
They've conceded a whopping fourteen goals in their last five games and given they're facing a side that have scored seven times in their last two outings this could get quite ugly for Sutton.
For our Crawley vs. Sutton prediction, we're going for a 4-2 win for the home side.
