Gillingham and Wimbledon will clash in League Two this weekend with the two clubs separated by 12 points in the table as the Gills are still looking to get clear of the relegation zone just as the Dons aim for the top half.
It's been a topsy-turvy season for Johnnie Jackson at the helm of Wimbledon. His side have won just 10 games so far in the league and lost nine times with 12 draws. Jackson's men have also conceded 31 goals and scored 32 of their own.
The club have drawn the past three games and scored only two and let in two in the process. This came in a 2-2 draw with Hartlepool United last weekend, as Wimbledon also drew 0-0 on the road against Northampton Town and 0-0 against Carlisle United back at home.
The club's last win came against Stockport County back at the end of January, and they remain the only side to beat the fourth-placed Hatters in the past month. Wimbledon did, however, lose to Leyton Orient soon after and it also means just one win in 2023 and two losses, as they've managed to rack up an incredible five draws - only one of those draws saw goals.
As for Gillingham, they are in the bottom four but also have games in hand on those around them. In fact, the club are already three clear of Hartlepool just below them in 22nd with them also boasting of three games in hand. The Gills have now lost 14 times in the league, however, and with just 19 goals scored, they are the lowest scorers across the entire Football League.
Nevertheless, despite the poor readings on the league table, Gillingham have only lost once in the past seven games in League Two. This has seen them defeat Hartlepool, Colchester Untied, Grimsby Town and Rochdale just last weekend. They also managed to snatch a draw in a thrilling 3-3 draw against Swindon Town at the end of January, as only Mansfield Town have beat them in the past month.
