            Harrogate vs. Stockport Betting Tip

For our Harrogate vs. Stockport prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for the away side.

Stockport County continue their play-off push as they travel to face Harrogate Town in League Two this weekend.

Harrogate Town currently sit 20th in League Two with seven wins, six draws and fourteen losses from twenty-seven games this season.

The Sulphurites have had a tough campaign this season as they find themselves deep in the relegation battle just past the halfway point of the season.

They enter this game in poor form overall having won one, drawn two and lost two of their last five matches in the league, but they do enter this game off the back of their biggest win of the season.

In their most recent game Harrogate triumphed over 3rd place Carlisle United with a 1-0 win away from home courtesy of an own goal in the 82nd minute. The win brought an end to a five-match winless run and gave them a gigantic three points given the circumstances.

Carlisle's home form is still a slight concern heading into this game having failed to win any of their last three on home soil (W0 D1 L2), but they won their two home games prior to that run so there's hope here.

Harrogate registering two wins on the bounce would be huge for their survival hopes but they face a tough task here as they welcome a side chasing the play-offs.

Stockport County currently sit 7th in League Two with twelve wins, six draws and ten losses from twenty-eight games this season.

After an abysmal start to the season County are finally starting to fulfil their pre-season promise as they now look like the legitimate play-off contender many people tipped them to be coming into this season.

They enter this game in decent form having won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five matches in the league, the most recent of which was a 3-2 win over Tranmere Rovers.

Stockport's away form is quite a concern here having failed to win any of their last three games on the road (W0 D1 L2), but they did win their two away games prior so they're not a lost cause on their travels.

The two sides drew 0-0 when they clashed in the league back in September, but given Stockport's resurgence they'll be confident of going one result better here.

This is a huge chance for Stockport to make it two wins on the bounce and secure what could be a vital three points in their play-off push. It's a potential banana skin but it's one they should fancy themselves to win.
