Newport County and Bradford City are set to meet this Saturday afternoon at Rodney Parade with the two sides coming into this one with draws each in the midweek games that has seen the Bantams slip into fifth in the table.
Bradford come into this game having not tasted a defeat since losing to Barrow 1-0 a few weeks back. They've since gone on to defeat Doncaster Rovers 1-0, beat Gillingham 2-0 and then defeat Colchester United by the same scoreline.
They did, however, lose their winning run with a 0-0 draw against Walsall in the last outing, but they remain fifth in the table and well on course to finish inside the playoff spots. Better yet, they are two points above Stockport County in sixth and Salford City in seventh with them also having a game in hand.
Mark Hughes has now led his side to 16 wins this campaign and only eight losses, as his men boast of the second-best defensive record in League Two with just 29 goals let in and 42 goals scored of their own. At the same time, they've managed to secure 10 draws and are only behind Stevenage in third by two points and second-placed Carlisle United by three points.
As for Newport, they are on a winless run spanning across three games after drawing with Grimsby Town in a 1-1 draw away from home. Priestley Farquharson scored in the second half that day for the south Wales side.
The club also lost to Salford City 3-1 last time out and were beaten by Sutton United just prior to that, as they also went on to beat Hartlepool United 1-0 in their last victory in League Two. All of this keeps them in 18th for yet another week and a healthy position above the relegation zone.
