Stockport County will welcome Crawley to Edegely Park this weekend with the Hatters aiming to kick on after a poor start to the season just as the away side look to swiftly move on from their shocking loss last time out.
Crawley were battered 6-0 away to Swindon Town in the last outing where they had just two shots on target throughout the game. Worse yet, the club lost to Gillingham before that and now head into his game with only two wins this season after beating MK Dons and Bradford City this year.
The club also headed out of the EFL Cup first round with a 2-1 defeat away to Exeter City at the start of August. Other results this season have seen Crawley draw 1-1 away to Salford City.
As for County, just like last season, it has been an underwhelming start to the season for them. It took the club a bunch of games to get going in what was their first outing in the Football League for over 10 years. This time around, County head into gameweek six with just one win on the board and seven goals let in.
Stockport were also beaten on the group stages of the Football League Trophy last week with a defeat on penalties to Manchester United U21s. Worse yet, the club fell back into the loss column with a defeat away to Mansfield Town one week on from beating Barrow at home in their first and only win of the season. Stockport are also out of the EFL Cup too, as they were beaten on penalties by Championship side Sheffield Wednesday.
Despite the poor start to the season, Stockport are still 1/2 to get the win in this game and over 2.5 goals in this match also sits at the same odds of under 2.5 goals (5/6). Both teams to score is also at 4/5, while both teams not to score is at 10/11. Isaac Olaofe has bagged this season for County already and he is 13/8 to score anytime and 5/1 to net first or last, and the same odds apply for Louie Barry, Paddy Madden and Nick Powell.
