Morecambe bounced back the next time out against Accrington Stanley. Goals from Nelson Khumbeni and Chris Stokes were enough to keep the lead over Accrington after Lewis Shipley scored, grabbing a 2 - 1 win for Morecambe.
Another 2 - 1 win came Morecambe’s way, this time against Barrow. David Tutonda gave Morecambe the lead in the third minute and Gwion Edwards doubled the lead just eight minutes later.
